A lot of people who are inexperienced with internet marketing are always afraid to appear new....that was the case with me...so you take advice from someone who doesn't appear so new...that works too for a little bit...then you have to decide if this is working or not...then you move on with your quest for information....never stop looking for more...I got a question the other day from a self proclaimed guru..he said where are you advertising your sites obviously it is not working...It made me chuckle because I know that he and I are advertising in the same places and making probably the same amount of sales and/or sponsoring the same number of people.
Rather than making this some kind of boring series to make your eyeballs fall out and your a$ fall asleep I am going to make this one single post and give you all of my sources right here and right now...you may want to bookmark this page because the information that you are about to receive is going to be pretty hefty.
The Basics - Safelists and Traffic Exchanges
The following is a list of Safelists that I use to mail emails from. I only use credit based safelists that are responsive meaning that other people actually open the emails and look at the website. This does not mean that you will get the response that you want but once in a while things will happen and sometimes they happen very quickly.
Adsolutionline
Adtactics
EuropeanSafelist
EliteSafelist
FreeSafelistMailer
ListJoe.com
GlobalSafelist
GotSafelist
You can find all of the traffic exchanges you will probably ever need at this one location...it also
helps to keep track of all of your exchanges using the ad manager feature...I do not recommend their ad tracker I will show you the best free one in a moment.
Prelaunch 4 Income
There are 20+ traffic exchanges you can manage all in one location from here so I highly recommend this if you are attempting to gather traffic through traffic exchanges.
I said there was a Free ad tracker that I recommend and that is located here
IsoRegister
Social Networks
The biggest thing that marketers have become worried about is what most teenagers are worried about .....how effective is my social network page? Oh my this opens a huge can of worms and a million and a half opinions so let me just show you where I am and you can decide from there where you want to be. Let's start with the obvious MySpace
Facebook
Yuwie
Zenzuu
hi5
eCademy
Naymz
MagneticSponsoring
LinkedIn
Tagged
That is a short list, but you see that I have gained a lot of exposure through social networking and this allows for more website hits..more passive advertising...the factor then becomes time and managing time effectively.
I have found that Ning.com is also a great place to find many social networks to become a part of as well.
This leads to the video/audio portion of the web 2.0 marketing strategy as well. Let's take a look at some of my video networks as well as the audio networks that I use.
YouTube
Dailymotion
Metacafe
These are just a few.....if you work with video and want easy distribution throughout various channels then I recommend HeySpread
If live video would interest you then you need to hook yourself up with this live video broadcasting service uStream
Sometimes people with a face for audio much like myself like to use podcasts to get there message out..here is one of mine and there are hundreds of communities and podcast services out there the most popular of course is iTunes.
My favorite audio service that is available has to be here Blog Talk Radio
you can build your own page and host shows with live call ins.
I have attempted to show you that with very little knowledge I began online to build a business to support my income and now to support my family. You may be in a hundred different places yourself. Time management is the key to operating efficiently and effectively using all of these social sites.
The last and probably the biggest craze has been social bookmarking sites. I would go into all of it with you but I have found a page that holds all social bookmarks in one spot and makes it simple and easy to post to these sites and here it is SocialMarker
A whole new adventure is waiting using the sites such as Digg, Twitter, Del.icio.us, and more.
Guru or not guru it does not matter.....you can be seen and will be seen if you are disciplined and enthusiastic about what you do. I wish you nothing but complete success.....you notice I did not talk of blogging....here is just one of my 12 blogs that I try to maintain as well.....
ApSense
HubPages
WordPress
Blogger
There are also blogs in my social networks too......this may seem like a lot of work, but if you follow the lead of someone who has already cleared a path you find that it is much easier to do and a whole lot more fun.....
